When you are no longer able to enjoy hot water you look for someone to replace your old broken down water heater. Since, I live in Independence, MO I contacted a local water heater replacement business. When I told them the product that I was wanting to replace my old water heater with, they told that it would be a week before they would receive a product to replace my old water heater; this was definitely unacceptable. So, the next business that came up was KC Water Heaters and it showed that they worked in the Independence, MO area. I contacted KC Water Heaters and was given a couple of options to have them come out to replace my old water heater. Am I ever glad that I contacted KC Water Heaters, their prices were right in the range I was comfortable with and I could not have asked for a better person to hook up with than Chase Thompson. He was very knowledgeable and efficient in getting my new water heater installed. If you are ever in need of a new hot water heater, KC Water Heaters and Chase Thompson are the ones to call, you will not be disappointed. Especially if you want to take a hot shower within a couple of days of having your water heater go out on you. I highly recommend KC Water Heaters/Chase Thompson to come out to your residence or business to replace your old broken down water heaters.

The 11 year old Kenmore water heater was leaking from the bottom of the tank.
A new PRV was installed along with a thermal expansion tank, should get more than 11 years out of the new AO Smith water heater.

Old water heater had leaked from the top of the tank and out the relief valve connection. We found that the PRV had failed and the water pressure was 95 psi.
New AO Smith water heater installed along with thermal expansion tank and new PRV.

This was a fairly new water heater that was still under the 9 year warranty from Sears. It was likely due to the water softener that was also installed. The longer warranty tanks don't seem to last any longer.
Install amtrol thermal expansion tank and new copper connectors and shutoff valve.

Replace water heater with no hot water. This water heater was not leaking, the pilot had just gone out. Since it was nearly 20 years old the homeowner opted to replace the tank.
Install 50 gallon State Select hot water heater with 6 year warranty.
