Water Pressure Inside
This unit was installed by another plumbing company about 8 years ago. The relief valve blew open and flooded the basement. The flexible water heater connectors were emitting black spots throughout the water lines. The shutoff valve was leaking along with the sharkbites used. The vent was also undersized and the TP was still dripping.
The water lines were hard piped. A new PRV was installed, and a thermal expansion tank was installed. The gas line was straightened and the flex connector removed.
Feedback by Customer
Fortunately, we found KC Water Heater Company! Chase came out and discovered many problems with our previous installation. He was surprised the previous installer did not do a pressure check. He explained everything giving us several options. We went with a completely new 50 gallon water heater made in the USA and all new installation parts. He also used copper tubing instead of flexible connections. We were impressed with his solderless connections avoiding toxic lead and flux. Everything is now perfect. We highly recommend this company. Chase went above and beyond all expectations! He is a true professional!
